Annual Parent Resource Night
Farris Therapy offers an Annual Parent Resource Night at each campus, with the next event taking place in Spring 2025. This event is intended to share of what Pediatric Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy is, and how families can incorporate strategies for each realm at home. Not only do families get personalized interaction and recommendations with our staff and therapists this night, but they also have access to learn about various resources our local community has to offer. This includes utility assistance programs, childcare enrichment programs, insurance assistance, medication reimbursement, as well as local food pantry and clothing closets available. Attendees do not have to be receiving services at Farris Therapy to engage, this is a fun and interactive community event!
Summertime brings one of our favorite events at Farris Therapy: WaterWeek! Our therapists and clients love to dive on into this enjoyable time, and we beat the heat with interactive therapeutic tasks designed to bring the "fun" to functional for each discipline. From water slides and bounce houses, to ice painting and pool play, Water Week gives our crew the chance to think outside the box and show our families and community how everyday playful activities can be growth and learning opportunities!
Spooky Spirit Week comes once a year, and you can bet that our Farris Therapy team is going to go all out to celebrate! With themed days for the week, our team loves to dress up or demonstrative creativity in a special and unique way that helps our clients to know we are all in alongside them. While embracing each person's unique skills and abilities is the heart of who Farris Therapy is, utilizing a fun theme such as crazy hair day or character costume day truly allows our children to see we are all wonderfully different, and still awesomely exceptional!
Happy Holiday Week provides a week of festive fun and games for our clients! Farris Therapy aims to seek out what is important to each child within the holiday season, to incorporate for enjoyable and heart-warming sessions. When our kids know they are a valued member of our Farris community, and can sense the lighthearted environment around them, they are eager to engage in therapy to the best of their abilities and we see them absolutely thrive during this time.
