Amanda Ward

MS, OTR/L

Amanda, a Jonesboro native, now lives in Heber Springs with her husband, Stan, and daughter, Laney. She also has a son, Colby, and a new daughter-in-law, Baylee, who live in Jonesboro. Amanda's mother's experience as an early elementary educator, as well as her years of working within a local daycare as she grew up, inspired her to pursue a career helping children. She chose Speech-Language Pathology after meeting Dr. Rick Neeley during her time at Arkansas State University. Amanda graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders and has been practicing Speech Language Pathology ever since. Amanda loves spending time with her family, going to the lake, attending her daughter’s local basketball games, and hosting family and friend cookouts. She is also involved in her local church. Melissa, on the other hand, enjoys supporting her two daughters in various school activities and spending time outdoors with her family. She loves activities like kayaking, hiking, taking her dog for walks, and relaxing on her back porch. She also finds the team environment and support at Farris Therapy encouraging and enjoys building relationships with her clients and their families.
