After working as a Speech Language Pathologist for over ten years, Mrs. Morgan earned her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Arkansas. During her graduate studies, she was part of a research team and presented at conferences in Spain, the Netherlands, and Greece. Mrs. Morgan received a Fulbright scholarship and spent an academic year in Mexico conducting research. She put in a lot of effort to learn Spanish through her college coursework, church mission trips to Mexico, a study abroad program in Costa Rica, and during her Fulbright year. Mrs. Morgan has experience treating children in both English and Spanish and values cultural and linguistic diversity. She is thrilled to join the Farris Therapy team and enjoys collaborating with children and their families to enhance communication skills. She believes that creating a language-rich environment for children involves positive adult and peer interaction, access to quality books, and plenty of time for imaginative play. Mrs. Morgan lives with her husband and four children on their family farm, and she loves going to church, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family.
